Draw vs Paint

Drawing  programs create images composed of objects(e.g. squares, circles, triangles). The objects can have properties such as colour. These objects can easily be edited (e.g. change position and rearange them). Drawing programs are created through vector files.

Paint programs create images pixel by pixel. They can't be easily edited, the only way do to this is to edit individual parts. The files they create aren called bitmat files.
