For the project, i have decided that i will be using powerpoint to construct the project. The topics that i have chosen to do are:

1. Hand held devices ( e.g. smartphone, iPod, iPad, PSP)
2. Piracy and Copyright
3. Types of ports, eg. USB, Fire-wire
4. Bluetooth

This is the image that was created by the use of notaland online tool. The media allows users to add text, images and videos to one or slides and create a book of these images. The site is easy to navigate, however the account settings are hard to change.

The CPU

1.       What is the function of the CPU?

The function of CPU is to complete computation engine that is fabricated on a single chip.

2.       What was the name of the first CPU?

The first CPU was the Intel 4004.

3.       Referring to the graph on page 2 of the article, describe how the speed of CPU’s has changed.

The speed of CPU has changed because since it has first began the speed is much quicker in a shorter space of time.

4.       What does MIPS (millions of instructions per second) measure?

MIPS measure the rough performance of a CPU.

5. Research (Google it) what is a dual core processor, what is multitasking and how do the two work together.

A dual core processor is a microprocessor with two separate cores on the same die, each with its own cache. Multi taski ng is  when the processor must go back and forth between two or more sets of data streams and programs.
